Samsung has officially launched its new Galaxy M40 smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy M40 is the next line-up smartphone of M-series after the Galaxy M30. The best feature of the new smartphone is that it runs on the punch-hole display and sports triple rear camera.
Samsung Galaxy M40 Price in India
In India, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is priced at Rs Rs. 19,990 for a sole variant that is 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone comes with two color options of Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue gradient. The Galaxy M40 will go on sale starting from June 18 via Amazon and Samsung official online store.

The Galaxy M40 runs on the 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the front, it comes with a punch-hole display design where selfie camera is placed. However, the phone does not have an earpiece but it includes an on-screen sound technology.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Octa-core Processor with Adreno 612 GPU coupled with 6GB of RAM with an internal memory of 128GB. Further, the storage can be expandable up to 512GB using microSD card.
The Galaxy M40 sports triple rear camera set up along with LED flash. The 32-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, a secondary depth sensor camera of 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, and lastly the 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone runs on the operating system of Android 9.0 Pie with One UI on top. It is packed with the battery of 3,500mAh with 15W fast charging support. The smartphone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the connectivity option includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and Type-C USB port.
