Upcoming 5G Mobiles in India: Next Generation Network


Soon the phone makers will launch its next flagship smartphone with 5G technology. The fifth Generation of mobile networks will offer an increase in the internet speed of a wireless network. However 5G smartphones are expected to be launch in 2019. So here are the upcoming 5G mobiles in India.

Update: Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has been launched and it does not support 5G Connectivity. But they have launched the 5G variant of its S10-Series known as Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G [Introduced]

The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G smartphone runs on the 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ dynamic AMOLED display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC which houses 8GB of RAM with an internal memory of 256GB. Further, the phone comes with a Quad-rear camera of 12MP+12MP+16MP+TOF and with a dual selfie camera of 10MP+TOF. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with One UI. The phone is packed with the battery of 4500mAh with 25W fast charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Type-C cable, and wireless charging technology. Connectivity options such as 5G connection.

However, the company will first make a partnership with Verizon and then they will launch its 5G smartphone in Q2 2019. While in India, we have to wait for the availability of 5G connections and the expected launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 could be at the end of 2019.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Many leaks and rumors are being surfaced about the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus with a 5G feature. It is most likely that Samsung will launch its upcoming flagship smartphone with 5G technology. Meanwhile, the rumors also suggest that the phone runs on the 6.4 inches with AMOLED display. It will be coming with the latest Exynos 9 Octa-core Processor which houses 6/8GB of RAM with an internal memory of 128GB.

Surprisingly, the S10 will come with a triple rear camera of 12MP+12MP+5MP and with a dual selfie camera. While the official features are not known. The Galaxy S10 will launch on 21 February.

It is Official that the upcoming OnePlus 7 will boost the latest chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Whereas it is said the phone will come with a 5G support. It also said the OnePlus 7 will be launch by May.

Meanwhile, the smartphone will run on the 6.4 inches display. It will have the latest chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which houses 6/8GB of RAM with an internal memory of 128/256GB. The phone will come with a triple rear camera of 24MP+12MP+8MP and selfie camera of 24MP. However, it will run on the Android 9.0 Pie.

Huawei Mate 30

The giant Huawei company is currently working on 5G technology for its next flagship smartphone. Although there is no official confirmation of which Huawei phone will come with a 5G support. But the rumors suggest the Huawei Mate 30 will be the company’s first 5G smartphone. Further, the phone will be launch by September 2019.

The Mate 30 will be running on 6.2 inches with AMOLED display. It will be having the latest chipset of Kirin 980 Octa-core Processor which can house 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal memory. The phone will be coming with the triple rear camera.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

UPDATE: Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has been officially introduced in Barcelona with 5G connectivity and with the latest chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

The Xiaomi company also working on its upcoming flagship smartphones that will support 5G networks. From the leaked news Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will feature the 5G technology. As at present the Mi Mix 3 houses highest of 10GB RAM. In the future, the smartphone will be featuring the powerful chipset of Snapdragon 855 and run on the 5G network.

The Oppo will also launch its first 5G smartphone in 2019. From the rumors news, the Oppo will launch its 5G smartphone as Oppo R15 but with some changes that can support 5G technology. The Oppo’s 5G smartphone will be launch by Q3 or Q4 of 2019.

LG V50 ThinQ

LG is also gearing up its next upcoming smartphone with 5G support. The recent leak hints the LG V50 ThinQ for Sprint will feature a new 5G technology and could be launched in MWC 2019.

The LG V50 ThinQ will be powered by the latest chipset of Snapdragon 855. The battery will be boosted with 4000mAh. While other details are yet to known. However, the LG V50 ThinQ is expected to be made available in March 2019.
