Xiaomi Mi 9 is the new upcoming high-end flagship smartphone by Xiaomi which is said to be launched in next year. The Xiaomi Mi 9 will be the successor of Mi 8 which was launched earlier in June 2018.
According to the latest news from Gizchina, the Xiaomi Mi 9 could be the first smartphone to feature with an upcoming latest chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 and it will be launched in the first half of 2019.
The Snapdragon 8150 could be the next chipset from Qualcomm and it was earlier called as Snapdragon 855. There is no information on the launch date of a new chipset.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Expected features and Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full-screen AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen display. The phone will have a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. It will be powered by an upcoming latest chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core Processor. The phone will house 6/8GB of RAM with an internal memory of 128/256GB and the storage can be expandable by using microSD card.
The phone is rumored to come with a triple rear camera of 48MP (Sony IMX586 sensor) + 12MP + TOF with dual-LED flash. There could be a mechanical pop-up selfie camera of 24MP.
The phone will run on the operating system of Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 or 11. It could be packed with the battery of 3,600mAh with a fast charging feature (Quick charge 4.0). The phone is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The other features such as 4G VoLTE and Type-C USB port.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Price details
Earlier the Xiaomi Mi 8 was priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 28,000). The Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to be priced around at Rs 35,000-40,000.
